From the Zagat Wine Club
Vibrantly purple color.
Like grape juice straight out of the tank.
OK nose of primary grape juice, blackberry & some dried herb.
A slight whiff of sulphur is distracting.
Light entry of chalky, tannin infested black fruit that is primary.
Flows into a slightly spicy finish.
The aggressive tannins need food to shine.
The primary sweetness is slightly troubling.
60% Merlot – 30% Cabernet Sauvignon – 10% Cabernet Franc
