Brassfield Estate Eruption 2010
February 22, 2012 | Written by: Ed Doklan
Very primary on the nose.
Like fermenting grape juice.
Medium lush entry of primary fruit flavors with a lot of tannin taking over on the finish.
This needs to settle down, which it probably will in the next few months.
It’s a “Meh?” for now.
I’ll have to revisit this one later.
David Ramey has been making the wine here since 2008.
The Eruption name comes from the fact that there is an extinct volcano on the property.
